You spend a lot of time and resources on tedious and time consuming link building techniques. It would be much better if you can have your own high PR sites to support your main and primary site. SEO and link building nowadays is all about smartness.

Why To Monitor Expiring Domains?

Google page rank is just a calculation mainly based on number of back links that a domain name receives. Domains are created and deleted every day but PR associated with a particular domain remains unchanged unless Google swing its pendulum again.

There are many tools available that can help you to monitor expiring domains! I won’t recommend any because most of them work quite similar. These tools will provide you the data regarding PR and inbound links of expiring domains. Don’t trust blindly on that data; make sure you manually check all the back links.

Best Time To Backorder

There is a small time period between expiration and deletion. After expiration you can backorder these domains at Moniker and Godaddy. Although you can backorder even before expiration but after expiration probability of deletion increases and that is the best time to back order such domains.

How To Use Such Domains?

  • Although you can increase the Page Rank of your existing site just by 301ing your new domain but this method is not recommended and has many weaknesses.
  • You can create your own new high traffic site with the help of high PR expired domains – way back machine can help to give some what idea about the old look of that site. Put some theme based quality and original content on new site and use it to support your other sites.
