Never Ever Register Domains From Unpopular Registrars?
Your domain name is your asset and you should protect it at any cost. I always prefer Godaddy and Moniker to register domains but a few months ago I made a mistake by registering a domain from an unpopular and low quality registrar (Domain Central). This domain is very important for me as it is 301 redirected to this blog.
When I registered that domain there was only one Domain Central site but now there are many and I don’t know which one holds my domain. This domain is expired on March 6th still I’M unable to renew it.
I tried to contact them but their phone lines do not work, their live chat is closed for maintenance. I sent about ten mails! only received one lame reply. I reported this problem to ICANN and I’M sure they will take action against this registrar. Any how I have time till April 15 and definitely I will renew it.
Quality customer service should be the first priority of every company and I’ve learnt the lesson and will recommend you to use the services of top and popular registrars.
