Bring Paypal To Pakistan

Posted by Faisal | November 19, 2009 .

Paypal is no.1 payment processing system on the internet. But they are missing a great opportunity; they are missing talented brains from Pakistan. I know, there is a lot of negative news nowadays about my country but still I believe that this country has a lot of talent. Paypal is biased, they can create special rules to accommodate Indians but we Pakistanis are neglected.

Come On Guys

We are no.6 in the world in terms of population. We have talented developers, outstanding SEO’s (including myself) and amazing internet marketers but still we are ignored. Why?,Why? And Why?

Pakistan Vs India

We are much smaller in size as compared to India but still history proves that 11 Pakistani cricket players are better than 11 Indian players (We have won more matches), 11 Pakistani hockey players are better than 11 Indian hockey players(We have won more world cups) . Our rock singers are rocking in their industry. Similarly, Our IT professionals are better than Indian experts.

Just for India, Paypal has created special rules as Indians can withdraw funds through paper checks.  But we Pakistanis are just waiting for pay pal to come which is simply injustice.

Faisal, Nice post indeed….I think this is somewhat related to our government and our foreign policies. Our foreign policies greatly matter in representing us and our economy state. So thats why these kind of issues come up.
So Government should take some practical steps towards the development of IT and latest technology in Pakistan. Inshallah one day Pakistan will be on the peak.

While I agree that PayPal should be brought to Pakistan (I am also an IT professional living in Karachi), you should leave your political agenda at home and focus on the topic at hand. Making statements that Pakistan is better than India are without merit and unnecessary to illustrate your point.
