Many people and so called marketing gurus believe that bloggers should allow Dofollow links on blogs to encourage comments. I’M not disagreeing with this idea! Even new and low traffic blogs receive much more comments with this strategy.

Do Follow Links Can Hurt Your Credibility?

When you allow Dofollow links you give an open opportunity to spammers to receive inbound links and PR from you website. Although there will be comments from high quality bloggers and webmasters as well but most people will try to exploit this by leaving fake comments just to receive inbound links.

Do You Need Commenters OR Loyal Readers?

Regular and loyal readers don’t even consider the follow and no follow factor while leaving a comment. But linking to spam websites and passing PR by allowing Dofollow links will ultimately hurt your credibility. Do you just need Commenters OR loyal blog readers? Choice is yours.
